Overview We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team here in Shalford, Surrey. Role The Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will involve working with an experienced and passionate team, with a changing workload to meet our client and candidate's expectations and demands. You will need to be pro-active and organised and be able to manage your own workload effectively to respond to changing deadlines - No two days are ever the same! Responsibilities
Registering Candidates consisting of face-to-face meetings/interviews Advertising with major job boards Searching CV database sites There will be an element of sales involved Answering the phones in a professional & polite manner Data Entry Filing Matching candidates to suitable agency bookings Referencing candidates and associated administrative work involved with candidate placements and compliance Delivering outstanding customer service to our already-large portfolio of Clients Relationship building & maintaining to both Candidates & Clients
Essential Skills
Recent experience working within an office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) Working knowledge of the Catering/Hospitality Industry Exceptional customer service & communication skills, written & verbally Organised, methodical & self-motivated work ethic Good attention to detail and accuracy Strong administrative background Excellent IT skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook Professional & confident telephone manner Good sense of humour
Additional Information Please note - we are located near a train station (Shalford) but the trains are somewhat infrequent, so own transport would be highly recommended, but not essential. Salary: £27,000pa to £30,000 + bonus/commission structure (after probation). This is predominantly a Monday to Friday role. We work occasional Saturday mornings (approx. 8:30am-12:30pm) with very generous overtime pay (after probation). Generous annual leave + extra time off over Xmas plus bank holidays off.
