Our client is an award-winning fine dining restaurant in Bedfordshire, known for its elegant modern British cooking, exceptional ingredients and a dining experience that consistently exceeds expectations. They are now looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join their close-knit, highly talented brigade.
This is a rare opportunity to develop your craft within a kitchen led by genuinely supportive, down-to-earth owners who are deeply invested in their teams growth, well-being, and long-term careers. Creativity is encouraged, progression is real, and the standards are among the best in the region.
Please note you will need your own transport due to the location.
Whats in it for you as a Junior Sous Chef
£37,000 per annum plus service charge (£300-£400 per month)
28 days holiday
Support with relocation if required
5 days per week with only 3 evening services
2 full days off and 2 evenings off every week

What they are looking for
A strong background in Michelin-starred or 3 AA Rosette kitchens is essential
A genuine passion for modern British cuisine and seasonal produce
Someone ambitious, creative and eager to continue learning
A natural team player who thrives in a collaborative, professional brigade
Responsibilities
Producing beautifully presented, modern British dishes using exceptional ingredients
Supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Contributing ideas towards menu development and tastings
Maintaining the highest standards of organisation, cleanliness and consistency
Mentoring junior chefs and leading by example during service
