We are seeking a hands-on Service Manager to lead and develop the service division of a leading catering equipment company. This is a pivotal role, overseeing a team of field service engineers and ensuring timely, high-quality servicing, repairs, and installations for clients across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience in service management, preferably within the commercial kitchen or catering equipment industry. You'll have a strong understanding of field operations, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client engagement, team leadership, and customer service.

Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department
Lead, support, and coordinate a team of field service engineers and service controllers
Manage scheduling and resource allocation for service, maintenance, and installation jobs
Act as a primary contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Conduct client meetings to discuss service performance, future requirements, and build long-term relationships
Negotiate and manage service contracts, SLAs, and warranty terms with both new and existing clients
Work closely with parts and inventory teams to ensure job readiness
