Senior Project Manager – Major Projects Join Apollo AyurVAID's engineering team as a Senior Project Manager, leading delivery of major infrastructure projects at the Gilston Park Estate in East Hertfordshire. Role Overview This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards, managing procurement, financial oversight, stakeholder relationships, contract administration, and change control to meet the business objective of creating 8,500 new homes and supporting community infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Strategic planning and execution of major infrastructure projects, including bridges over waterways and a railway. Oversee procurement, contract administration (NEC, JCT, ICC) and financial management to deliver projects on time and within budget. Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage internal and external stakeholders, and maintain strong communication with regulators and community representatives. Drive approvals, change control and progress reporting to senior management and project sponsors. Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across all project activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Major infrastructure experience, including bridges, highways, utilities, drainage or civil projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contract management. Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering projects with social value objectives. Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
