School Catering Assistant

Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour

Location: Various Primary & Secondary Schools across Lancashire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the preparation and serving of meals

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas

* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

* Support the catering team to ensure smooth daily service

* Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Essential Requirements:

* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

* Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment

* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Ability to work effectively as part of a professional and motivated team

* Provide details of your two most recent references, covering the last five years of employment

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
