Position: Pastry Chef Department: Hospitality Responsible To: Head Chef and Senior Pastry Chef Hours of Work: Average of 37.5 hours per week. The kitchen operates on a rota system, which includes evening and weekend shifts. Due to the nature of the client’s activities, occasional out-of-hours work may be required. Shift patterns may be adjusted to meet business needs.
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the pastry section, delivering high-quality desserts, and supporting the development of seasonal menu offerings. You’ll play a key role in crafting an exceptional customer experience through your attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of quality across all dessert offerings.

Assist in coordinating the preparation and presentation of all pastry and dessert items.

Support daily production to meet operational requirements.

Contribute to seasonal menu development, creating exciting and innovative pastry dishes.

Help manage food cost controls to support F&B revenue.
*
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health & Safety, Allergen Information, and safety regulations.

Follow personal hygiene standards as outlined by the Head Chef.
