The Role
- Preparing and producing a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
- Supporting both daily service and formal dining events
- Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and quality
- Assisting with menu planning and seasonal development
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Working collaboratively within a structured brigade
Hours & Working Pattern
- Permanent, full-time position
- Working every other weekend (with time off in lieu as applicable)
- Structured rota within a professional college kitchen environment
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or strong Chef de Partie with pastry experience
- Solid understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques
- Strong xbpsjku organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-focused environment
- Food Safety Level 2 (minimum)
