Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and quality control of ingredients. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. Monitor dish quality throughout preparation and plating, upholding consistency and excellence. Train and mentor junior team members to support skill development and maintain kitchen standards. Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative dessert concepts and seasonal menu offerings. Promote sustainability by minimising waste and optimising efficiency. Maintain pastry equipment in good working condition and conduct regular stock checks. Foster cross-department collaboration to ensure smooth kitchen operations. About you You bring proven pastry experience in a hotel or high-end kitchen, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
