Kitchen Porter South East London £14.28 per hour - 37.5 hours per week Mainly Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at a very busy school , which also hosts regular events and functions . This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Washing up, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils Keeping kitchens, storage areas and delivery zones clean and organised Assisting chefs and catering staff with basic food preparation Handling deliveries, including regular heavy lifting and moving stock Supporting school meals service and evening/weekend events when required Adhering to food hygiene, health & safety standards at all times The Ideal Candidate: Physically fit and able to cope with heavy lifting and long periods on your feet Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Willing to be flexible, especially during busy school events Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential We Offer: A supportive team environment Regular hours within a school setting Opportunities for additional hours during events Training provided BOH1 TPBN1_UKCT
