Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join their catering team in a busy corporate environment near Liverpool Street. This is can be physically demanding role and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is looking for a good work-life balance.
Whether you have experience from Restaurants / Hotels / Contract Catering or other kitchens and you are looking for a better work / life balance this Kitchen Porter role could be for you.

Responsibilities:
Washing up, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils (machine and hand wash)
Keeping kitchens, storage areas and delivery zones clean and organised
Assisting chefs and catering staff with basic food preparation
Handling deliveries, including regular heavy lifting and moving stock
Supporting daily food service as required
Following food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous Kitchen Porter experience in a commercial kitchen
Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and long periods on your feet
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
