Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant for ad hoc events Located in Shirley, Croydon £14ph plus Holiday Pay per event Flexible ad hoc working hours We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter(s) / Kitchen Assistant(s) for our Wedding Catering Company, 10 Flavours Catering. Our wedding venue is based just outside of Croydon. It will be for ad hoc dates throughout the year on an ad hoc basis, but primarily weekends and holiday periods eg Easter, Summer Holidays, half terms. Shifts are usually around 8-10hrs. This extremely flexible role would ideally suit someone with regular Monday-Friday work who is looking for ad hoc additional work (20-40 events per year approximately), but the position is open to anyone with experience as a kitchen porter. Kitchen Porters & Assistants are an essential part of any busy kitchen. You will be responsible for general pot wash and washing up duties, operating dishwashers, moving kitchen equipment, rubbish removal and general cleanliness of the kitchen and back of house areas. Own transport is desirable due to location of work. This position is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
