Junior Catering Supervisor
to play a key role in the smooth running of our operation. In this role, you'll ensure the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and service across all areas of The London Clinic. Key Duties Overall supervision of own team (5-10 people) including mandatory and on the job training of team, holiday usage, staff performance Daily supervision of team (10-20 people on shift) to include daily tasks and rules and procedures adherence Ensure the safe and correct service and storage of food/beverages at all times Ensure completion of all daily tasks for work colleagues and yourself Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning to the relevant contractor or department Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment Responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils while in work Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise Carry out any other duties as required by management Cover sickness, and follow policies on absenteeism Ensure SMT trainings for staff are up to date To be self-motivated and be able to work without supervision Support your section in difficult and pressurised situations Skills and Experience Level 2 in Food Hygiene Good experience in a reputable hospitality outlet as a Catering Assistant, Waiter or similar Experience in food service in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential Supervisory experience is not essential but willingness to supervise others is required (our training will cover the rest!)
