As Head of Sales you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling the revenue, expanding our market presence (corporate, contract, events, private), and driving profitable growth while maintaining the premium positioning of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a commercial sales plan for revenue growth across all business streams (corporate, event, contract, picnic/hamper).
  • Set targets (new clients, client retention, revenue by segment, margin improvement) and track progress.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and identify growth opportunities (new sectors, geographic expansion, partnerships).


Business Development

  • Lead and drive the acquisition of new clients: large corporates, venues, agencies, broadcasters/film shoots, private event clients.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, secure long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Work with marketing on lead generation campaigns, key account targeting, networking and referral schemes.


Client Management & Growth

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients; understand their needs, identify ways to expand services, improve client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular account reviews, upsell and cross-sell relevant offerings (e.g., hamper/picnic, corporate breakfasts/lunches, event catering).


Team Leadership & Process

  • Manage and coach the sales team: recruiting, training, setting objectives, performance reviews.
  • Ensure robust sales processes: CRM management, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations and kitchen teams to ensure sales promises align with delivery capability (e.g., menu development, event logistics, service quality).


Budget & Performance

  • Own sales budget, forecast revenue, monitor margin and profitability.
  • Report monthly/quarterly on sales performance, key metrics and improvement plans.
  • Drive margin improvement through effective pricing, segment prioritisation and cost awareness.


Brand & Market Presence

  • Act as brand ambassador for Pique: attend industry events, speak to press/partners, build networks.
  • Identify partnerships, tie-ups and collaborations that raise the brand, open new revenue channels or enhance client value (e.g., venues, private clubs, sport/arts events).
