More about the role:

The overall purpose of the Head of Catering Planners role within the catering planning team is to orchestrate the seamless execution of a diverse array of events, ranging from conferences to exhibitions and dinners.

  • Overseeing the Event Catering Planners in their role coordinating catering arrangements for various events, meticulously planning logistics, and ensuring that all client requirements are met with precision and efficiency
  • Managing the planning of your own events
  • Planning the delivery with the Levy Operations and wider EICC Team to include locations, timings and numbers whilst ensuring all catering requirements are effectively communicated
  • Administer all event related correspondence ensuring all contractual documents, deposits and final invoices are issued and paid according to company guidelines
  • Create and maintain full and concise Event Catering Proposals to ensure these are seasonally appropriate and the menu fits with the guests/delegate demographic

About you:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, acting as a role model and setting an example for our team and the wider business
  • Adept communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, EICC and other stakeholders to ensure that every aspect of the event aligns with the client's vision and exceeds their expectations
  • You will have a passion for the events industry, be an effective communicator and have a sound, demonstrable knowledge of food and drink
  • A self-confident, approachable individual who can prioritise, excellent organisational and time management skills
