We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious person to join the catering team working at County Hall and the newly refurbished Champney Treasure House cafe.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent service and a warm atmosphere.

We are keen to employ a person who enjoys working with others and who has an excellent customer service background.

A good knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness is needed.

You would be expected to work in all areas of the cafe and in staff catering facilities.

The successful person would be expected:

  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Will work as part of a team in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
  • Prepare and cook light snacks and baked scones.
  • Take food and drink orders and can confidently handle cash and card payments.
  • A high-level food hygiene is expected within this role, so this role involves cleaning duties and completing daily food safety checks to ensure the team keeps its high food safety rating.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
