The Role

At Westfield Junior School, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. A nutritious and enjoyable meal is an important part of the school day, and we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen / Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team.

Key duties include:

· Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks

· Setting up and clearing away tables and dining areas

· Washing up, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining hygiene standards

· Helping to receive and store deliveries

· Working as part of a team to provide a positive lunchtime experience for pupils

We are looking for someone who is:

· Friendly, reliable, and enjoys working around children

· Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

· Committed to high standards of hygiene and safety

· Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks

Previous experience in a catering or cleaning role is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
