An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, service-driven Catering Manager to join a prestigious Conference & Events Venue in the heart of the City of London. Partnering with a high-end, bespoke catering provider, this venue is renowned for delivering exceptional hospitality to corporate, commercial, and private clients. The site hosts a wide variety of events, from business meetings and conferences to private dining, receptions, and special occasions.
We are seeking a confident, hands-on Catering Manager with the operational expertise and leadership skills to oversee day-to-day operations of Events, Conference and hospitality services, ensuring an outstanding guest experience at every touchpoint. This is a diverse, client-facing role requiring operational excellence, strong leadership, and an eye for detail across all aspects of venue management.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all food, beverage, and hospitality operations, ensuring flawless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Lead, motivate, and develop front-of-house teams to consistently deliver high standards of service. Ensure the seamless execution of all events, conferences, and functions, from corporate meetings to private celebrations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships. Ensure all client expectations are met throughout the planning and delivery process, balancing budget constraints with exceptional service. Serve as a brand ambassador, fostering positive relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers. About You: Proven managerial experience in conference & event venue or contract catering setting or Event Caterers. Passionate about delivering high-end food and exceptional service experiences. Calm, professional, and solutions-focused with a hands-on approach to daily operations. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A natural leader who can inspire, mentor, and drive performance within a team.
