As a Chef Supervisor, you will assist with the financial and operational responsibility for your school's catering facility. You will be focusing on delivering exceptional service and food with a creative twist to make school mealtimes fun and exciting.

This role is:
- Monday to Friday working - no more weekends!
- 20 hours working with no late nights
- 38 weeks per year based around term time (more time to spend with friends and family)
- £12.72 per hour

Main Responsibilities
- Supporting in managing the team to ensure a consistently fantastic dining experience for students and staff in line with company standards
- Leading in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our menus, and overseeing development
- Providing outstanding support and guidance to the team
- Supervising, developing, coaching and training all staff in a positive and motivating manner
- Assisting with the catering operation, including stock, food, and labour costs
- Driving sales through monthly promotions and added-value events
- Building positive relationships with clients and customers
- Ensuring full compliance with company systems & procedures, and legislation
- Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for serving great-tasting food and providing excellent service, maintaining the highest standards at all times, along with the following:
- A natural positive leader who can demonstrate great teamwork
- Previous experience in supervising a team
- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a kitchen
