Job Title: Catering Supervisor Location: Cambridge, CB5 Salary: £28.5k Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Supervisor to join our clients busy catering and conference team. This new role has been created to support business growth and strengthen their supervisory team within the Catering and Conference function. This is a hands-on position, working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of catering and conference services across a variety of venues, including dining halls, cafeterias, and event spaces. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to all guests and clients. Key Responsibilities Undertake Duty Manager shifts, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the guest experience. Assist with the planning, organisation, and supervision of front of house staff to ensure effective service delivery. Proactively manage staffing challenges, customer requests, and equipment issues. Ensure hygiene, food safety, and health and safety standards are maintained at all times. Keep accurate records in line with policies and best practice. Lead by example, supporting and training team members where required. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a supervisory catering or hospitality role.
