The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of catering operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality while leading a dedicated team. The Catering Manager will play a crucial role in planning and executing events, managing resources effectively, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Duties Supervise and coordinate all catering activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen and service areas. Lead, train, and motivate the catering team to deliver outstanding service and achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions for events. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Oversee the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all details are executed according to client specifications. Monitor financial performance of catering operations, implementing cost control measures where necessary. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Qualifications Proven experience in a restaurant or catering management role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with a track record of effective team management and supervision. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members. A passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hotel catering or large-scale event management is advantageous.
