Our client based in Burton on Trent are in the hospitality sector, they currently have the need for a Catering Host to join their team on a, temporary, ongoing basis. The role will entail assistance with food preparation, food and beverages service and maintaining high hygiene standards at all times. Duties: Providing excellent customer service Ensuring to maintain high health, safety and hygiene standards Preparation of meals Plating and service of both hot and cold meals Probing and recording food temperatures Cleaning meal trays and cutlery in food areas Disposal of catering and waste materials Completing procedural paperwork to ensure temperature checks are recorded. Hours: 40 hours over 4 days a week The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. Candidates must have basic food hygiene qualification or be willing to undertake training to gain the legal requirement of a level 2 in food safety.
