In this role, you will support the Cook Supervisor in various tasks related to food preparation and service. Your responsibilities will include unlocking and locking up the Caf� and outlying buildings, taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers, assisting with food preparation, operating the till register, handling cash transactions, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and caf� areas, and maintaining personal hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for unlocking and locking up the Caf� and outlying buildings as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving food/beverages with a friendly and polite manner.
Assist the Cook Supervisor in food and beverage preparation.
Competently operate the till register, ensuring secure transactions.
Handle cash procedures, including cashing up at the end of the day and assisting with banking and record-keeping.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and caf� areas.
Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and dress code.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team and individually.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations is desirable but not a requirement.
