Actual Annual Salary: £11,252 - £11,487 (Based on actual working hours and weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,310 - £24,819 Grade Ai (Based on 37 Hours per week, all year round)
Hourly rate: £12.60
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 13/02/2026, Covering Maternity Leave
Hours: Part Time, 20 Hours Per Week, Term Time only, Including Inset Days
Additional role info: Working Pattern - Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day

We’re looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to support our school’s kitchen team in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to our students and staff.

About you:
We are looking for a calm and enthusiastic individual to join our catering team to assist with general preparation, presentation and service of food for The Brook Academy. Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided

About The Brook Academy:
The Brook Academy is a special school in Gloucester with supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health as the primary need for students, and speech, language and communication need as a secondary need. Our mission is to consistently deliver excellent educational experiences for young people aged 11-16, improving their life chances and serving our communities .
