Occasional/ Bank hours. 

Shift patterns are 8am-1pm & 1pm-6pm Mon-Fri & 10am-6pm weekends. This is an occasional hours contract to cover staff absence so no guaranteed weekly hours.

From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). This does not apply to sleep-ins.

About the role

We have a vacancy for a Catering Assistant to join our great team. Supporting the Cook within our busy care home, you will assist in the delivery of food and beverage, providing menu’s that are healthy, nutritionally balanced, meeting any specific dietary requirements.

You will support our customers at mealtimes, ensuring that exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

We love a celebration, so helping us during a range of events throughout the year is a brilliant part of this role!
