Catering Assistant - Prestigious Oxford College

Salary: £13.16 per hour Hours: 37.5 per week, 5 out of 7 days (early and late shifts: 7am-3pm / 12pm-9pm) Location: Oxford

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the catering team at a prestigious Oxford College. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the smooth running of our busy dining and events operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and guests

Assist in the preparation, service, and clearing of meals in the dining hall and at college events

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all catering areas

Adhere to health and safety and food hygiene regulations at all times

Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, professional catering team

Support the delivery of high-quality service during functions and special events

About You

Previous food service experience is essential

A positive, flexible attitude and strong team-working skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices
