Donegal Contract Type: Temporary - 6 Weeks Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm About the Role Wild Ireland, a unique wildlife sanctuary located in Burnfoot, Co. Donegal, is currently seeking a Catering Assistant for a 6-week placement. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public in a friendly, fast-paced environment. The role involves a mix of customer service and general kitchen support. Key Responsibilities Serve customers at the café counter in a polite and efficient manner Prepare and serve light snacks, teas, coffees, and other refreshments Carry out general kitchen duties including dishwashing, cleaning, and stock replenishment Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times Assist with cash handling and operating the till Work as part of a small, supportive team Requirements A valid PPS number is essential (due to working in the Republic of Ireland) Friendly, helpful attitude with good communication skills Ability to work under pressure and manage busy periods Basic understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided) Previous experience in hospitality or catering is desirable but not essential Benefits Gain hands-on experience in a vibrant visitor attraction Supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunity to develop catering and customer service skills If you are interested and want more information, please email or call Ext 353.
