Houston & Hawkes are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at our client site in Epsom. This is a hands-on and varied role ideal for someone who enjoys food service, supporting in the kitchen, and engaging with customers. You'll assist with lunch service, prepare sandwiches and grab-and-go items, and occasionally cover the coffee shop. ?? About the Role: As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a key part in the smooth delivery of daily service. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help with food preparation, customer service, and general kitchen duties with no washing up required. The role offers a great worklife balance, with Monday to Friday hours only. ?? Key Responsibilities: Preparing sandwiches and light snacks for service Assisting with breakfast and lunch food service Serving customers in the catering area and coffee shop Operating tills and handling payments Keeping counters and displays clean, tidy and well-stocked Providing general kitchen support (excluding pot wash) Following food safety and health & safety procedures Supporting your colleagues where needed across the site ? What We're Looking For: Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service (preferred) Friendly, reliable and approachable Team player with a flexible and helpful attitude Willingness to learn and take initiative Basic understanding of food hygiene (training provided) ??
