Catering Assistant for Wheatley Lane Primary School. Pendle

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

You will work as part of a team in Wheatley Lane Primary School providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

The role involves producing up to 100 meals a day.

We require someone with similar background and experience in industrial catering with a proven track record of producing quality food in bulk.

What we are looking for:

An enthusiastic, experienced individual in industrial catering.

Ability to work as part of a team and to take charge in Managers absence.

Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.

Good customer care skills

Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential

Working Hours/Days:10.00 hours per week.

This is a fixed term position for six months with a view to a permanent position with in the service.
