Role Overview As a Barista at Chucs South Kensington, you will be the face of our coffee service, delivering expertly crafted beverages with a warm and professional demeanor. Youll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by combining technical skill with a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and seasonal specials
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and offering recommendations
Ensure consistency in drink quality and presentation
Support the front-of-house team during busy periods, including light food service and table clearing
Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold Chucs service standards
Requirements Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a high-volume or premium café/restaurant setting
Strong espresso and milk-steaming skills; basic latte art is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
A proactive, team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work weekends and early shifts (e.g., 6:30am starts)
