Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders.
Advise on food and wine menu choices
Be knowledgeable about the dishes and history of the restaurant.
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a positive attitude.
A willingness to learn about menu items and company history / values
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
About The Fat Duck Group
Founded by world-famous chef Heston Blumenthal, The Fat Duck Group comprises four restaurants that between them hold a total of 7 Michelin Stars.
Its flagship restaurant, The Fat Duck, is located in Bray, Berkshire, England.
