We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic FOH Catering Assistant to join our fantastic, busy catering team at IWM North on a flexible, casual basis. As a FOH Catering Assistant, you will be part of a hard-working, friendly group who all have the same goal - to deliver exceptional customer service to our visitors. Known as one of the UK's leading aviation museums, RAF Cosford is a striking and historic venue that hosts a variety of exhibitions and events, offering a unique and welcoming environment for visitors of all ages.

The successful FOH Catering Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including providing a friendly and welcoming service to all café visitors, assisting with the preparation and service of food and beverages, serving customers and operating the till, clearing tables, pot washing, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling cash, and supporting stock control processes.

Shifts

Shifts will vary between Monday and Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and available to work weekends. This is a casual zero-hours position, meaning weekly hours will vary according to business needs, typically 10:00am - 5:00pm on weekends, amounting to approximately 14-16 hours per week.

• Be aged 17 or over
• Possess a warm, friendly and welcoming personality
• Have a passion for delivering outstanding service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride
• Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers
• Be an excellent team player with great communication skills
• Have a desire to succeed in your role
• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times
• Previous catering experience isn't essential - what's most important is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
