Job description Typical Work Activities include: All aspects of food preparation, cooking, baking, and presentation Preparing meals for residential visitors Front-of-house duties, including processing transactions on the till system and preparing beverages using the barista coffee machine Maintaining administrative and food hygiene records, both manually and through various online systems Ordering stock from regular suppliers Ensuring the kitchen is maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness Serving food and engaging with customers Personal Skills We are looking for a hands-on Catering Supervisor with a cheerful, flexible, and outgoing approach. As a key member of our small, close-knit team, youll bring confidence in working independently, a positive, can-do attitude, and show a readiness to muck in wherever needed. Through your positive approach, youll help support and guide new team members in a friendly and approachable way. Experience in Barista training would also be an advantage. Flexibility is required to ensure the satisfactory completion of the job, and due to some slightly unsociable working hours which may include opening the Coffee Hatch (7.30am start) or providing meals for our residential students (6.30pm Finish).
