About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join a friendly catering team at a secondary school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals Supporting with kitchen duties including cleaning, washing up, and maintaining hygiene standards Setting up and clearing away food service areas Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times Working effectively as part of a team to deliver a smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

Previous experience in a catering or kitchen role is desirable but not essential Ability to work in a busy environment and manage time effectively A positive and flexible approach to work Good communication and teamwork skills An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
