. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires adaptability, attention to detail, and ideally, a background in catering or hospitality. However, as this is a 5 over 7 contract, you may be asked to work evenings and weekends on occasion, with notice. Flexibility is key, and you may also be asked to work at other campuses to meet departmental needs. About the Team Our Property and Facilities team delivers a first-class service to over 1,500 staff and 15,000 students across Edinburgh Napier University. Were committed to continuously improving our service for customers, staff, and visitors. Alongside day-to-day catering, we also support large-scale business and hospitality events throughout the year. What Were Looking For Experience in catering or food service in a busy environment Excellent communication and customer service skills High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to cover holidays, absences, and special events Barista training or willingness to learn Additional Information: Permanent full time - 5 over 7 days (flexible shifts including weekends) Grade 2 £23,350 - £26,093 + a flexibility incentive supplement of 3% Edinburgh Napier is committed to creating an environment where everyone feels proud, confident, challenged and supported and are holders of Disability Confident, Carer Positive and Stonewall Diversity Champion status.
