Hours: Bank - Zero hours
Shift Times: As/when needed in the service - shifts vary between 7am-6pm
Shaw healthcare is looking for a Bank Catering Assistant who is ready to make a positive impact at Croft Meadow, a modern 60 bed care facility made up of nine self-contained living units that are suitable for a wide range of care purposes, including dementia care, respite and residential care.

You will work under the direction of the Cook to work together as a Catering Team to ensure that delicious home cooked meals are prepared and services to the Residents. This will include, but not limited to:
Assist chef with food preparationIndependently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residentsLoad and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasherClean kitchen and equipmentCollect and distribute crockery from/to the care floorsClear tea trolleys where applicableEmpty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuseMaintain a clean and hygienic environmentCarry out reasonable requests, as instructed by the Senior Chef/ChefEnsure that the nutritional needs of residents are metEnsure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and RegulationsAre you looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference?
